Keeping a clean and optimised database helps to ensure optimal application performance. Version 4 features an Operational Data Store (ODS) participant merge as part of a wider data management tool-set for sharedo users.
The primary goal is to merge selected ODS entities, in this case the participants, into a single master entity. This includes relating data such as key attributes and contact information.
The merge wizard is supported with a set of configurable merge rules to make the process simple and easy to use. It also ensures that any duplicate records are flagged to ensure data accuracy. Where two of the same records are highlighted, the system enables users to pick accurate fields from each and merge them into one master.
